11 October 2017 – Ninewa Plains – A class in session at the Al-Taghllubia School for Boys in the Ninewa Plains on the day it reopened after being closed for 3 years.
UNDP’s Funding Facility for Stabilization is helping rehabilitate the school. Miss Fatim, a parent of one of the school’s pupils is happy to see her son return to the school. “It’s very nice to come back to your original place,” she said. “We appreciate this so much. It’s a very nice feeling to see you are here and are helping us, and that students can come back here to study.”
